Young children are like dry sponges when it comes to learning. Once they have discovered the joy of learning, their appetite for information becomes insatiable! It is unfortunate that a large number of today's children never discover the joy of learning new things, and therefore struggle throughout their latter school years. But here at this facility, we make learning a real joy for the children through the following methods...
- Poetry.
- Music.
- Academic learning games/activities.
- Computers.
- Constructive playtime.
We use a broad pre-school Curriculum at this facility. The Curriculum touches on a huge number of topics and concepts too numerous to list here. But the main topics are as follows...
- Science related studies of weather, geography, space and the planets, our senses, and the human body.
- Language and communication studies beginning with cognitive thinking followed by letter recognition, learning phonics, and finalized with basic English, some Spanish, and some Sign Language lessons.
- Mathematics studies starting with number recognition and then moving to addition, subtraction, more or less, equal sets, and number sequencing.
- The grasping of many different learning concepts through the use of poetry and music in their various forms.
