MEALS YOUR CHILD WILL HAVE HERE:

Since this facility is registered a Pennsylvania State Food program ( Children's Choice of Pennsylvania ), your child can expect to be provided with...

1. Breakfast (served between 9:00 and 9:15am) consisting of cereal, milk, and juice.

2. A full course lunch consisting of a meat, vegetable, fruit, grain, and milk.

3. A source of snack is also served at 4:00pm each day.

TEACHING ASSISTANTS:

Obviously one person would have their hands full with 12 children between the ages of 2 and 5. This facility employs teaching/child care assistants to help with the children. One of the problems in schools today is the teacher/student ratio. The assistants work with me to provide the children with the individual attention they often need while learning about this big world we live in.
*This establishment is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

One of the special features offered at this day care facility, should the parent(s) opt for it, is to have digital pictures sent to them by Email to them at work throughout the day. This provides a way for the parent(s) to 'share' the days exciting activities with their child(ren). Often times a child will come home from day care trying to tell mom or dad all the exciting things they did, but deliver the stories piecemeal. With the pictures, the parent(s) will know exactly what their son or daughter is telling them! It's a neat way for working parents to keep in touch with their children as they grow and learn. How important is that in a world of "Disconnectedness"?
Another special feature offered at this day care facility is the implementation of a daily 'log book'. Each child brings with him or her a 1" 3-ring binder. This binder is then used to hold a log for each day they attend, outlining the day and all they did. They also keep their learning papers in them so they can refer back to them and/or show mom and dad what they did. This provides a unique way for the child(ren) to look back at all they have accomplished, thus helping them become more confident and stimulated.
