Here is a list of some of the Academic Learning Activities we use to help your child(ren) grow and learn. While this is not an all inclusive, comprehensive list, it does list some of the more important activities to promote the child's developement.
- Writing our names in upper and lower case.
- 8 colors and matching them.
- Recognizing each letter of the alphabet.
- Learning different words for each letter in the alphabet.
- Sequencing a story.
- Sizing things in the proper order. (Big to small, and Small to big, Etc.)
- Our senses!
- Days of the week in English and Spanish.
- Months of the year in English and Spanish.
- Things that are opposites.
- Things that are the same.
- Animals and their habitats.
- Right and Left.
- Telling time.
- Learning to spell: at/words, ot/words, names and colors.
- Recognizing each other's names.
- Recognizing things that do not belong.
- Recognizing things that are similar.
- Putting numbers 1-10 in proper order.
- Learning to count to 20 and further! (For older children.)
- Grouping the correct number of objects for each number.
- Matching numbers.
- Matching the same sets of items.
- Adding and subtracting.
- 11 different shapes.
- Matching 11 shapes.
- Learning about the food groups. (Also learn that things like peanut butter, eggs, and peanuts are in the meats, Etc.)
